Yesterday I had a nice video chat with Yana! We were talking for about 2 hours with cameras and it was really awesome. So nice to see the person you are talking to and to know that its not a scam.
Probably not everyone knows what is scam. Scam in the Internet can be different, but I'm talking about romance scam. For example you met a woman on the dating site. You are talking to her in chat. You are asking her to open her camera. She can agree or refuse. If she agrees it means she is 100% real. But if she refuses it can mean only 2 things. Either she doesn't have camera or she is just using somebody's photos. I will rather believe in the second option because its almost impossible not to have a camera on your laptop or in the Internet cafe in the 21st century. Also this woman can ask you for money for some reason. To help her mother, to buy a laptop, to buy a telephone and etc. I would never believe this can be true and I would advice you not to send money to her until you see her face in video chat. I think its the most important option on RomanceCompass dating site. So start using video chat today and aviod scam tomorrow!
